Labradorite Marquise Gemstone Handmade Silver Necklace

Unique and elegant handmade sterling silver labradorite gemstone pendant in a marquise drop shape.

Labradorite is typically a grey colour gem with flashes of colour that show as light interacts with the layers within the gemstone.  This particular piece has a strong blue/green tone across the whole surface of the gem.

Set in a handmade sterling silver crown style setting to show off as much of the beautiful labradorite as possible; with a beaded silver loop over the top from which 3 jump rings hang to attach the 18 inch chain.  I finished the necklace with the addition of 3 silver balls at the bottom of the pendant to echo the pattern on the edging.

The necklace has been hallmarked at the London Assay Office, this is displayed on the back of the pendant.

The stone is rub over set meaning the silver is pushed all the way round the stone making it super secure.

The gemstone pendant measures approx 19mm at the widest point and approx 59mm from the bottom of the setting to the top of the jump rings.
