This striking necklace holds a beautiful labradorite gemstone in a handmade setting.
As soon as I saw this labradorite stone I had to have it! This beautiful stone has a grey base colour which when the light hits it flashes with vibrant blues and this is a gorgeous example of the amazing colours you can get. This gemstone has a checker board cut top and the facets sparkle as they catch the light.
I handmade the sterling silver setting to be the perfect fit for the gem and added a silver tube on the top for the chain to pass through. The stone is rub over set meaning the silver is pushed all the way round the stone making it super secure.
Hallmarked at the London Assay Office; this is displayed on the S style clasp of the necklace.
The gemstone pendant measures approx 27mm in width and approx 23mm from the bottom of the setting to the top of the tube. The tubing is wider than the pendant at approx 38mm. The depth of the pendant is around 7mm.
Suspended on an 18 inch silver chain this is sure to be a talking point when ever you wear it!
Made from sterling silver.
As everything is handmade I can make adjustments such as a longer chain. Please get in touch to discuss any alterations.
